Memorial 5k

Background

For the Love of Christi sponsors Memorial 5k to help re-establish the tradition of Memorial Day by giving families and friends the opportunity to run or walk in memory of their loved one.

This special event takes place each May around the lake at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock, with the start and finish line near the Memorial Tree Grove. It includes a 5K run, a 5K walk and a Kids K, and is designed to appeal to competitive and casual runners and walkers.

We also hold a tree dedication and brief ceremony following the run/walk. Participants enjoy food, refreshments and entertainment, and all age groups and pets are welcome.
