Education Programs
It’s often difficult to know what to say or how to support a friend or co-worker who is grieving. For the Love of Christi provides many different types of free programs to educate professionals in mental health, law-enforcement, education, clergy and the general public about the issues of grief and other concerns of the bereaved.
Presentations
We provide presentations and panel discussions FREE OF CHARGE to universities, schools, civic groups, governmental and crime victim’s services offices, mother’s groups, human services organizations and churches about grief, coping with grief, and supporting the grieving. These programs are tailored specifically to the needs and interest of the audience.
Workshops
For the Love of Christi also provides comprehensive training for professionals in the mental health, medical, law-enforcement and educational fields. Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) are available. We have workshops at the Christi Center once a month. Some are free and others have a small fee to cover our costs.
We also provide workshops/trainings for organizations when there is a large group. Please click here to email us, or call us at (512) 467-2600 to learn more about our customized trainings.
