Teen Support Group
For teenagers, grieving can be especially difficult. Losing a
loved one during the fragile growing period of adolescence can leave
teens feeling alone in a social sphere where everyone is trying
to be alike. Bereaved teens are grasping for independence, yet needing
the reassurance of security; trying to blend in with the crowd while
feeling like they have been branded by their loss.
For the Love of Christi provides support group meetings for teens
ages 13 to 17. We help young adults learn how to manage and express
their feelings in a healthy, productive manner while realizing that
they are not alone in their experience or their pain. The group
provides a means to heal and grow and become a source of strength
for others.
Meeting time and location
- First, third and fourth Mondays of the month from 7:00 to 9:00
pm at the Christi Center.
- There is also a dinner meeting every 2nd Monday from 7:00 –
9:00 pm, at a local restaurant. Click here to email
